Event Brings Soul to The Amp Ballantyne™

The South Charlotte Chapter of Jack and Jill of America held the inaugural Lowe’s Got Soul: Savor the Culture event at The Amp Ballantyne on April 27. The festival featured performances by headliner DJ Kool and celebrity DJ Shogun as well as immersive art installations, a variety of food truck options and VIP experiences, all aimed at fostering community.  

Guiding the festivities were the charismatic duo Fly Ty and Jacinda, renowned radio show hosts and in-arena personalities for the Charlotte Hornets, who served as the event’s co-emcees. Local vendors offered an eclectic selection of jewelry, clothing and art, celebrating the diversity of the community. 

Festival proceeds supported four organizations: Do Greater Charlotte, Families Forward Charlotte, Freedom Within Walls, and The Jack and Jill Foundation.
