Big Goal Set for Food Drive

GoBallantyne aims to raise funds for 100,0000 pounds of food by Nov. 30 through its annual food drive benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate online now through November 30. Every dollar donated to the food bank delivers seven pounds of food to local families in need.
  • Attend Markets at 11 every second Saturday. Donate at the information tent and participate in an onsite volunteer activity at the November 13 Markets at 11 Friendsgiving Festival!
  • Enjoy seasonal Ballantyne Movie Nights. Admission is a $5 per person donation for the November 5 movie night.
  • The Live at 11 outdoor concert series has already raised over 29,000 pounds of food. Thank you for attending the fall series!

Monetary donations allow the nonprofit to deliver greater amounts of healthier food to underprivileged families in our region.
