How to make the most of Ballantyne’s newest amenity

Markets at 11 premiered in May in Ballantyne’s Backyard, and it will take place on the second Saturday of each month through December. Perhaps you heard the buzz and are wondering what to expect. Northwood Office and Esther + Elsa are dreaming up a good time! Here’s a guide so you don’t miss anything.
Where to go
Park at 11611 N. Community House Road. Walk to the right of the Wells Fargo building and follow the path and signage to the market. Markets at 11 is held in Ballantyne’s Backyard, a new community park on the former golf course.
What to do
Shop. Eat. Picnic. Grab a coffee or local brew. Take selfies and family pictures. Swing from a hammock. Fish in the ponds. Groove to live music while the kids play. Throw a Frisbee. Read your favorite local magazine.
How to plan your day
The market runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check the music lineup and schedule your visit around meals or snack time. The first market in May had Cousins Maine Lobster, MarlieQ’s Caribbean Queen, Hula Whip, It’s Poppin! Gourmet Kettle Korn, Bare Cookies, Mud and McQueen Coffee Bar and Sycamore Brewing.
