Typical day
I start around 6:30 a.m. with quiet time before jumping on social media. From 7:30 a.m. on, I write stories, listen to press conferences, call sources and post on company social media platforms. I wind down by cooking dinner.

I grew up in Marvin. My parents still live in the area, and I visit often.
Favorite beverage
Mostly I drink water or hot tea. After hours I like a good cabernet sauvignon.
Patrick Twiest
Hometown: Grand Marais, Minnesota
Job: Realtor
Typical day
Drink coffee. Take a long walk with the dogs. Work with the team to help clients find their dream home. Have drinks and dinner with my wife, Holly. I love my life.

I live nearby in Rosecliff, by the Arboretum.

Eagle Rare bourbon.
Marie Lorimer
Hometown: Charlotte. I am a graduate of South Meck High School.
Job: Realtor, Allen Tate Companies
Typical day
After more than 15 years of working in the homebuilding industry as a marketing executive, I recently joined Carl Richmond Associates at Allen Tate, partnering with my husband, Steven. So, on a typical day, after getting our two boys situated with either virtual or in-person school, we assist our clients with their real estate needs.

The Ballantyne area has been my home since 1989.
Favorite beverage
LaCroix Sparkling Water Lemon. We call it “Lemon Drop” around the Lorimer household.
