The 14th annual Charlotte Jewish Film Festival, presented by the Levine Jewish Community Center’s Cultural Arts Department, brought 15 international films to Charlotte in February and early March. Eleven of the films, highlighting universal themes in the global Jewish experience, were screened at Regal Ballantyne Village.
The opening night celebration, pictured here, was held at Temple Israel on Feb. 10. It included a reception and two comedies, the British short film “The Chop” and the American feature-length comedy “Humor Me.” Sam Hoffman, director of “Humor Me,” was in attendance.
