Masquerade Ball Supports Mental Health Care

The ninth annual Ballantyne Ball, presented by Brighthouse Financial and mission-sponsored by Novant Health, was held on Feb. 10 at The Ballantyne™, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Charlotte. 

The masquerade gala benefited HopeWay, a nonprofit organization providing best-practice mental health care and education for all. Ballantyne Magazine was the media partner. 

The community celebration included a cocktail hour, silent and live auctions, a sit-down dinner and dancing. WBTV’s Kristen Miranda and Jamie Boll were the evening’s co-masters of ceremonies. Debbie and Ron Hitzel from Impact Auctions were the auctioneer duo. 

Proceeds from the event benefit local organizations. This year’s funds will support HopeWay’s planned expansion to treat children and adolescents’ growing mental health needs.
